About Potpourri Express

Wikipedia describes potpourri as:
“a mixture of dried, naturally fragrant plant material, used to provide a gentle natural scent in houses.”

However, more importantly, it also goes on to say this:
“In English, “potpourri” is often used to refer to any collection of miscellaneous or diverse items.”

Based in post-noughties London (Wembley to be precise), the author of Potpourri Express with her own hybrid cultural identity, wants to explore what the not-so-straightforward notions of racial and cultural identity mean in the diverse city today.

Expect to see news, reviews and other shimmering sparkling thoughts on ethnicity issues in the big L and beyond…
